Success at Sebring

Olly took wins in 2 Ford Mustangs from different eras on his 3rd racing visit to the Sebring circuit in Florida. Driving a 1994 Trans-Am Mustang, Olly qualified 5th on the group 9 grid with brake problems. These could not be fixed at the circuit but Olly managed to net a 5th place finish in race 1 and, claim a win in race two albeit with a depleted field.

In the 1965 GT350 Mustang, Olly was 5th and 4th in the two practice sessions. Then as the tyres wore out, the powerful mustang went slower and 7th overall and 1st in class in qualifying was the result. On fresh tyres, Olly had an excellent battle with the Porsche 914/6 of Frank Beck in race one to emerge ahead in 3rd overall and 1st in class. Race two, the Porsche finished ahead leaving the Mustang in 5th overall but 1st in class again. Olly also ran in the International/American cup and came home in 3rd place behind a heavily modified Jaguar E-type and a Ford GT40.
