Ecurie Ecosse Powered By Black Bull’s Alasdair McCaig, Devon Modell, Oliver Bryant and Alexander Sims saved their best Blancpain Endurance Series performance of the season for when it mattered most last weekend (July 21-26) after scoring a Pro-Am podium finish at the 24 Hours of Spa for the second year running.

Ecurie Ecosse Powered By Black Bull rounded off their fantastically successful 2014 campaign by claiming third place in both the Drivers’ and Teams’ Blancpain Endurance Series Pro-Am championships after finishing fifth at a rain-hit Nurburgring on September 20/21.

Alasdair McCaig, Andrew Smith and Olly Bryant all excelled in the treacherous weather conditions to bring the Barwell Motorsport-run #79 BMW Z4 GT3 home fifth in class and 11th overall, while also maintaining their 100% points-scoring record in the series.

Ecurie Ecosse powered by Black Bull drivers Oliver Bryant and Marco Attard guided their BMW Z4 GT3 to fifth place in Sunday’s British GT finale at Donington Park (October 6) to finish the championship’s most competitive season to date third in the standings.

Strong performances from drivers Oliver Bryant and Marco Attard helped legendary Scottish motor racing outfit Ecurie Ecosse powered by Black Bull notch up 18 crucial points at Dutch circuit Zandvoort to set up a thrilling British GT title decider at Donington Park next month. Top-six finishes in both races mean the team will travel to the season finale a mere 0.5 points shy of the championship lead – just as they did 12 months ago.

Legendary Scottish motor racing outfit Ecurie Ecosse powered by Black Bull and drivers Oliver Bryant and Marco Attard picked up their third British GT Championship podium of the season at Kent’s Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on Sunday (August 11) to move up to second in the championship.

Ecurie Ecosse netted a well-deserved second place finish in this weekend’s three-hour British GT race at Silverstone thanks to strong performances from Alasdair McCaig and team newcomer Ollie Hancock. The former Lotus Motorsport factory driver deputised for Olly Bryant at the British Grand Prix venue as the Ecosse regular continues to recover from an injury suffered in July.

Qualifying was a wash out with the session being red flagged as heavy rain flooded the track and stopped play. Andrew Smith’s single lap time at that point was good enough for pole. The session was then restarted behind the safety car for the first drivers to complete their 3 mandatory qualifying laps. Olly the took to the wheel for what turned out to be the remaining 5 minutes of the session and recorded a lap time just good enough for pole position, some 0.3s quicker than the next car.
