An engine misfire plagued the fortunes of Olly Bryant and Andrew Smith in the Historika Porsche 904 at Dijon. Starting from P3 on the grid on aggregate times. Smith thought hard in the early laps to hold onto Seb Perez and Mark Sumpter. Unfortunately an unknown engine misfire continued to develop, and the race pace was sadly not there. Despite this, Olly took over at half distance and managed to nurse the car to the flag, to finish a credible P4 overall and 3rd in class after 90 minutes. This allowed the duo to maintain their championship lead. The next race is at Paul Ricard on the 28th August so it will give the team plenty of time to diagnose the issue and rectify before then.
