Olly Bryant was reunited with 2012 British GT team mate Alasdair McCaig for their first taste of the 2014 spec BMW Z4. The Barwell Motorsport prepared car ran faultlessly thorughout the day and both drivers were able to gain valuable knowledge and mileage on the Pirelli tyres ahead of Ecurie Ecosse's campaign in the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series. Both drivers set competitive lap times on the circuit where Olly had claimed pole position for the 2013 British GT race.

Wednesday was also the first time the car's striking new livery had been unveiled and it was met with widespread praise. The title sponsorship from Black Bull Whisky has been instrumental in putting the 2014 season together and the livery reflects this. The next test will take place on Friday 14th March, again at Silverstone where this time Andrew Smith will also join the test. Smith who drove in the European Le Mans Series with Ecurie Ecosse in 2013 is the third driver in the team's 2014 Blancpain line up. Fellow Ecurie Ecosse driver Joe Twyman will join the trio for the Spa 24 hour race in July.
