Stunning Silverstone Performance Relights Ecurie Ecosse’s Title Hunt

Ecurie Ecosse netted a well-deserved second place finish in this weekend’s three-hour British GT race at Silverstone thanks to strong performances from Alasdair McCaig and team newcomer Ollie Hancock. The former Lotus Motorsport factory driver deputised for Olly Bryant at the British Grand Prix venue as the Ecosse regular continues to recover from an injury suffered in July.

Olly has top 10 finish in Spa 24 Hours!

Legendary Scottish racing outfit Ecurie Ecosse made a successful return to international sportscar competition last weekend with a top‐ten class finish at the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Held at the iconic Spa‐Francorchamps circuit in Belgium the twice‐around‐the‐clock race is one of the most demanding on the motorsport calendar, and with a bumper entry of over 60 cars also ranks amongst the most competitive.

Olly enjoys solid qualifying at the Total 24 Hours of Spa 2011

Legendary Scottish racing team Ecurie Ecosse has made its sportscar return at iconic Belgian circuit Spa‐Francorchamps, enjoying an encouraging qualifying session for tomorrow’s Total 24 Hours of Spa.
Contesting the event in conjunction with Aston Martin Racing Partner Team Barwell Motorsport, drivers Alasdair McCaig, Andrew Smith, Joe Twyman and Oliver Bryant quickly acclimatised the updated GT3‐spec DBRS9, which bares the iconic Saltire livery first made famous by Ecurie Ecosse’s Le Mans 24 Hours triumphs of 1956 and 1957.

Ecurie Ecosse International Racing Comeback

25 years since they won the C2 World Sports Car Championship, legendary Scottish team, Ecurie Ecosse, is set to make a major comeback in 2011. The illustrious team which won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1956 and 1957 has been dormant on an international level since the 1990’s when the team won the British Touring Car Championship running works Vauxhalls.
